The selected candidate will support with the Boeing Company Flight Operations Services in Seal Beach, California. This position is Hybrid (minimum of 3 days in the office 1-2 days optional remote).Next to the knee of every pilot on a Boeing aircraft is a Quick Reference Handbook. Come Join our team and help create them! Position Responsibilities:

  • Analyzes engineering data as related to flight crew operations procedures, operations manuals, checklists, and flight operations data; designs and develops flight operations data and documents; evaluates detailed engineering information, drawings and supplier data, and assists with the integration into engineering and operational data packages for flight crews.
  • Assist with engineering research for customer specific requirements and resolution of customer problems; assists with the conversion of engineering data into the flight operations data used by flight crews.
  • Assists with engineering research in support of customer specific requirements, problems, and concerns.
  • Assists with the evaluation of customer digital data and publishing system's needs.
  • Opportunity to create tools to gain efficiency and automate Flight Operations processes

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. "US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • A Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)

  • 3+ years' of experience working around live aircraft and flight operations.
  • 5+ experience in support of aerospace products, which should include commercial or military airplane flight operations.
  • Customer support experience.
  • Experience in a team environment.
  • Team Leadership (Formal/Informal) experience.

Typical Education/Experience:Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience).
