About the Role

Fashion Nova is seeking an E-Commerce Merchandise Planning Manager to join the team. We are growing rapidly, and we need individuals that are just as comfortable working as part of a team as they are individually, owning product categories and supporting growth initiatives. Successful individuals will have strong and demonstrable E-Commerce planning experience in fashion, possess strong analytical skills, exude creative problem solving, and be able to keep pace with an environment that changes daily.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop annual, seasonal and monthly OTB for assigned product categories. Provide timely and accurate re-projections based upon current trends to effectively manage inventory. Present OTB plans monthly to executive leadership team.
• Recap business performance, and communicate financial results to cross-functional teams, reviewing variance to plan, deviations to trend, current forecasts, and action plans
• Partner with Re-Order teams to effectively manage inventory composition across new, re-order and core styles for assigned product categories
• Develop and create pre-season assortment plans using historical and trend SKU productivity performance
• Analyze sales, inventory and margin performance and effectiveness of promotions, price adjustments, markdowns and product launches
• Partner with Site Merchandising to effectively manage collection/landing pages while maximizing product views and conversion for assigned product categories
• Create, manage and distribute of weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting for the Merchandising department
• Recap assigned product categories quarterly hindsight to drive future strategic inventory, profit and assortment decisions
• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with cross functional team members; i.e., Buying, Site Merchandising, Marketing and Re-Order Teams
• Train, develop and mentor a team of planner(s). Ensure all planner essential functions and deliverables are being met on a timely basis.
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Required Skills

• Four-year college degree or equivalent required
• 5-7 years of experience in Merchandise Planning, Allocation, Buying, Inventory Management or related field
• Experience managing, developing and coaching a team
• Strong teamwork and collaboration with cross functional teams
• Proactive and takes the initiative to drive business and think outside of the box
• Experience using Shopify as an ecommerce platform
• Ability to interact, influence and communicate with all levels of employees
