Job objective: This is an exciting role in a growing company. The ideal candidate for the position is someone who has experience as the primary company interface for planning and scheduling the required materials through the factory and product lifecycle. This position reports to the Supply Chain Manager, but will have cross-functional coordination with sales, business development, manufacturing and inventory. This role will own MRP management and be the ERP power user.
Duties
- Load schedule into MRP as decided between engineering / sales / production
- Confirm with production that MRP schedule is possible before load
- Lead Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning monthly meetings
- Maintain exit dates of hardware and ensure material planners / production control are back scheduling properly
- Work with procurement to keep updated lead times for purchased parts
- Ensure parts are available on-time to MRP so that production can build through line of balance part tracking and/or clear to build meetings
- Release signals for work orders, purchase orders
- Manage MRP demand below master schedule inputs (BOM's are loaded, trees are correct, etc.)
- Keep track of new product introduction with engineering teams
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Business, Data Analytics, Engineering, Operations or other applicable field
- Minimum 8 years experience in material planning and scheduling with increasing roles of responsibility and oversight
- Strong understanding of MRP/ERP Systems and able to be power user
- Strong set of skills in Microsoft Excel
- Experience in a manufacturing environment with complex systems
- US Citizen and/or Permanent Resident (future security clearance may be required)
