Job Overview
As our Market Research Coordinator, you will be supporting the market research team in any capacity necessary. This includes, but is not limited to organizing, deploying, and synthesizing research conducted on behalf of internal and external clients. The mission of any research initiative at Scorpion is providing clients with data-rich insights that fuel informed decision making.
Responsibilities:
- Working with clients to uncover business issues and design custom research solutions under the guidance of Director of Market Research
- Managing research fieldwork and coordinating the efforts of external resources
- Drafting research surveys, questionnaires and facilitating research discussions
- Analyzing data for insights and patterns, communicating findings in oral and written presentations, and making data-driven recommendations to our stakeholders
- Performing desk research into various industries, sub-verticals, and website analytics
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics, Communications, Sociology, or related field)
- 2+ years of related experience
- High proficiency using the full suite of Google Docs and Microsoft Office applications
Qualifications:
- Capacity to look beyond the surface and tell compelling stories from research data
- Detail-oriented outlook and the ability to work in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities
- Collaborative and communicative proficiency
- Highly organized approach with immaculate attention to detail
- Strong work ethic and the ability to multitask effectively
- Creative problem solving, time management, and critical thinking skills
- Entrepreneurial drive to be a self-starter and continually learn
- Experience using Google Analytics and/or Google Ads preferred
- Exposure to surveys and market research preferred
