We are looking for a highly skilled Machine Learning Engineer with a proven track record performing predictive modeling and production deployment on diverse and large-scale gaming and/or marketplace datasets.

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering production models that optimize Mythical’s marketplace services ecosystem and drive business value. This is a dynamic and rapidly evolving role, and as one of the first team members, you will be critical to developing the Data Science practice at Mythical Games.

How you will make an impact: 

• Apply a diverse skillset in data analysis, statistics, and machine learning towards real-world problems like churn, anomaly detection, pricing trends, and recommendations
• Architect, build, and deploy robust data pipelines and models
• Iteratively improve models by applying the full lifecycle of modeling including engineering features, exploring model architectures, retraining and testing models, and conducting experiments.
• Build and improve data tooling alongside our brilliant data and engineering teams
• Work with cross-functional stakeholders in product, engineering, marketplace, and marketing on making data-informed decisions

What you should have: 

• 4+ years of professional experience with Python coding and predictive modeling in gaming, marketing, finance, or technology
• Knowledge of machine learning techniques such as time-series analysis, decision trees, clustering, deep learning, and optimization
• Experience deploying production code and machine learning systems
• Experience with tools and frameworks like SQL, Pandas, PyTorch, Keras, and TensorFlow
• Experience with deployment and tracking tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Kubeflow, and MLflow
• Familiarity with mathematical concepts underlying data science methods and experimentation
• Ability to ELI5 technical concepts and outputs
• Strong background in statistics or economics
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
