EZ Texting is looking for a solutions oriented leader in Business Intelligence to help enable growth across the business. The Director would be responsible for creating visualizations of KPIs and operational statistics that drive data-driven decisions. We are looking for a business minded, team player who can look at data from multiple sources objectively to present results to senior leaders within EZ Texting. This position reports into the CFO.

Primary Responsibilities

• Scope, plan, and coordinate the solution of complex, cross-functional problems that extend beyond the traditional boundaries of product, analytics, and data science

• Work cross-functionally with executives and high-level stakeholders to understand their problems and deliver data-driven solutions

• Evangelize the use of data-driven decision making across the business

• Develop, measure, and report on Key Performance Indicators for major company initiatives and departments

• Automate delivery of key reports across the business including design and development of dashboards for senior executives with visualizations and KPI tracking

• Develop, measure, and report on business metrics for major company initiatives and departments. lead deep dive analyses into critical business questions

• Consult regularly with engineering on data schemas and modeling, metrics aggregation and data warehousing. Knowledge of best-practices in data warehousing and ETL pipelines

• Proven ability to audit outcomes and structure processes to ensure data accuracy

• Present research on user behavior, product enhancements, and metrics development/methodology to all levels of the company ensuring transparency and partnership

• Recruit, retain, and manage a team of business analysts to drive reporting and ad hoc data projects

Requirements and attributes of the ideal candidate:

• Bachelor’s degree in statistics, math, computer science, or economics; advanced degree a plus

• 7+ years of applied experience in a management consulting or technology role with a strong focus on business analytics, project management, and user behavior; Experience with SaaS/subscription business models as plus

• Proven experience building, managing and developing a team

• Fluency in SQL, modern analytics and visualization platforms (Tableau, etc.) with a keen eye for data visualization and design consistencies

• Experience performing analysis with large datasets

• Experience building statistical models and running experiments

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a particular emphasis on effective data visualization and executive storytelling

• Ability to collaborate and work in partnership with different parts of the organization

• Ability to work independently, multitask, and drive your own project
