Position Cornerstones
Analytics
- Extremely strong analytical skills, with a data driven approach
- Ability to extract trends and insights from complex and disparate data sets
- Understanding of business-related concepts (i.e. margin, gross margin, COGS, etc) and the interrelationship between key metrics
- Experience with Google Analytics, and other 3rd party analytic tools
- Solid understanding of Excel or GoogleSheets to create industry-specific forecasts/projections
Creative Direction
- Firm grasp of brand strategy and management concepts and what makes a successful brand
- Experience guiding creative and visual direction on cross-channel campaigns
- Creative copywriting ability including customer personas, taglines, headlines, USPs, ad copy, website copy, etc
- Familiarity of creative best practices when utilizing Facebook Business Manager, Google Display Network and programmatic ad buying platforms
- Understanding of brand stewardship and how to grow and protect brand value
Relationship Management
- Exceptional interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to have challenging but productive business conversations
- Passion for building long lasting client relationships across various industries and verticals
- Experience in account management, business development or consultative marketing

- Client and internal complaints do not exceed 3 per quarter

Responsibilities
- Act as trusted business advisor and digital strategy expert to internal and external teams
- Provide cross-channel leadership and collaboration; own, drive and direct the success of assigned accounts
- Hold cross-channel teams accountable to provide complete, A+ work, on time and on point
- Solve complex problems for clients by understanding their business, its needs and industry and analytic trends
- Manage multi-channel resource allocation, including spends across digital assets
- Expand on existing strategies, add new services and research new platforms to create growth
- Explain complex business and data insights to clients
- Knowledge of the of both standard ecommerce funnel as well as b2b/lead gen funnel (how to build, optimize, etc).
Skills and experience
- 3-5 years of performance marketing, eCommerce and/or agency or brand management experience
- 1+ years (out of 3+) in a direct response and performance marketing environment
- Demonstrated people-management, teamwork and collaboration skills
- Advanced understanding of 3rd party analytic platforms like Google Analytics
- Google Analytics Individual certification required
- Experience as a brand manager, account manager, project manager
- Strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills
- Demonstrated ability and experience advising/persuading C-Suite level executives
- Advanced ability to write creative and business oriented copy
- Demonstrated willingness to take calculated risks
- Experience with Facebook business manager, Google Suite (Search, YouTube, Display, etc), UX/UX and CRO, and Email Marketing
- Intermediate knowledge of content, influencer and affiliate Marketing
