As a data scientist in this role, you will be a partner to the Marketing team, providing support for A/B test design and analysis as well as data-driven insights through ad-hoc analyses, presentations, and automated reports and dashboards.
Conduct industry research and customer analysis to develop a behavior-driven model and prototype for a better personalized experience for customers.
Build statistical models to study customer interests, study customer segments based on customer behavior trends, and conduct correlation research between customers and products.
Build reports to track and analyze the personalization and recommendation results on product coverage and customer behavior
Develop an understanding of and study the internal data available from the internal business system/process and utilize it to optimize the recommendation results.
Develop data modeling for product recommendations considering from different data sources like Clickstream, CRM and other Internal Data sources
Conduct industry research among competitors, 3rd-party service providers, and related social network websites for the new customer-driven functions, personalization/recommendation features, and other social features applicable to various marketing channels in Newegg.
