Who We’re Looking For

We are searching for a full-time Data Analyst to help us generate insights, mobilize them internally, and present them externally. The ideal candidate will become intimately familiar with our databases, understand the technology powering them, and own data visualization throughout our organization.

How We’ll Support You

You’ll have lots of resources at your disposal, including working with various teams at ringDNA to harness the data from hundreds of millions of touchpoints to better understand business communication. Call data, text messages, and email cadences all combine to provide insights into how customers interact. A robust data set, domain expertise, and advanced machine learning are key assets that allow us to understand and optimize our customers’ sales, support, and marketing interactions.

Duties in Detail

  • Translate organizational goals and questions into quantitative analyses.
  • Pull data and transform it to tell cohesive and easily-understood stories.
  • Liaise between Marketing, Finance, Customer Success, and Data to prioritize and execute analytics initiatives.
  • Build flexible dashboards to power self-service, and educate team members in their proper usage.
  • Ensured continued functionality of customer-facing dashboards, and work with Engineering to continuously maintain and improve them.
  • Provide ad-hoc support for data-oriented projects, including exploratory analysis, query-generation, and data labeling

Candidate Requirements

  • Successful applicants must be able to show their ability to legally work in the United States on their first day of work
  • Experience with SQL, ability to write complex queries
  • Ability to clearly communicate analyses to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong quantitative skills
  • Experience with if/then logic and general analysis techniques, e.g. from coding languages, excel, etc.
  • Bonus: Python experience, especially with the Pandas, Numpy, and/or scikit-learn libraries
  • Bonus: Experience with AWS, especially Redshift and S3
  • Bonus: Experience with unix systems and terminals
  • Bonus: Experience with building BI dashboards
