This is a great opportunity to work in Media and Consumer Brands, specifically in the fashion and beauty space! 

As a member of the Data and Analytics team, the Senior Data Analyst will work to surface data-driven insights that fuel our revenue growth strategies and tactics. You will be involved in a variety of cross-functional projects and partner with multiple departments and stakeholders at Who What Wear, to provide insights and inform data driven strategies and actions through high-quality and timely analysis of our marketing channels and campaigns.  In addition, you will be implementing quantitative approaches to solve unique problems and answer challenging business questions. The ideal candidate for this role is alway curious and has a passion for discovering patterns in consumer behavior, understanding audiences through advanced segmentation, and of course - all things fashion and beauty! This role is based in Los Angeles and reports to the Director of Data and Analytics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct rigorous statistical analyses to quantify the impact of editorial content strategy, consumer brands marketing initiatives and affiliate merchandising activities. 

  • Execute trend reporting across our core product categories of fashion, active, skincare and accessories.

  • Engage in data acquisition, data preparation, and feature engineering for a variety of datasets in support of the Audience Development, Product, Consumer Brands, and Editorial teams.

  • Create, monitor and maintain dashboards in Domo, our custom 3rd-party BI tool. 

  • Analyze site audience conversion to WWW Elite membership, optimizing campaigns and channels in order to increase membership conversion through the marketing funnel.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in STEM or related major.

  • 3+ years experience in an analyst role. 

  • Experience with statistical analysis and techniques such as probability, linear and logistic regression, multivariate analysis, and trend forecasting.

  • Experience in the creation, adoption and modification of SQL-based business intelligence dashboards and systems.

  • Experience with Python for data analysis; numpy, scipy, pandas, seaborn, statmodels, Jupyter

  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to clearly and effectively communicate analytical findings to stakeholders at all levels of sophistication.

  • A data enthusiast that is an inquisitive problem solver with a customer service ethic.

Pluses: 

  • Experience with AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery or other distributed database solutions.

  • Experience with Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics or other site-side reporting software.

  • Experience with social datasets such as Facebook Insights, Pinterest Analytics or other similar datasets.

  • Experience with affiliate network datasets such as Linkshare, Commission Junction or Pepperjam.

  • Experience with consumer choice survey methods and other qualitative survey methods.

  • Interested in growing into Data and Analytics management.
