About the Role:

As Cameo’s first International Data Analyst, you'll take ownership of strategic projects that will support Cameo’s international growth. You’ll leverage data to build tracking, develop scalable reporting, and influence marketing strategy. You will be a critical part of the International team and help establish a data driven culture.

You will be working primarily with Tableau, SQL, and our internal database to pull, analyze and communicate data via dashboards. You will also be responsible for crafting data-driven messaging to non-technical stakeholders, establishing models to inform go-to-market strategies, improving operations, and enhancing executive level hypotheses.

A familiarity with Google Sheets/Excel and Google Slides will be very helpful for presentations and communicating with teams across the business. Finally, you will also work with Google Analytics and Amplitude, as well as some of our marketing tools, to analyze our marketing outreach.

• Collaborate with the International team to identify knowledge gaps, define new opportunities, and leverage data to validate those hypotheses as a core step in our planning process.
• Collaborate closely with the GM of International, International Country Managers, other Data Analysts, and Data Engineers.
• Be confident in sharing your opinions and insights with the team - you’re on the front line after all!

What we hope you’ll bring to the table:

• Minimum of 2 years experience in a data-centric role, bonus points if you’ve worked on a marketing team, tech company, or at a startup! 
• Interest in international business development (work or study abroad experience a plus). 
• You're an abstract thinker who can see clearly through complex data
• 2+ years experience with Tableau, Domo, Looker, or similar data visualization tool; Google Analytics and/or Mixpanel
• 2+ years experience with SQL (writing and manipulating queries)
• Experience with Python a plus
• Experience with database design & modeling
• Most importantly, you’re someone that sees the glass half full and is excited to take on new challenges, initiatives, and projects!
• Additional spoken and written language skills a plus!
