Consumer Insights Analyst
Named to Fast Company's Most Innovative Companies list in 2017 and as Digiday's Most Innovative Publisher in 2018 - Who What Wear is looking to hire a Consumer Insights Analyst to join our innovative Consumer Brands division!
The Consumer Insights Analyst will work individually and cross-functionally developing reports and analyses to meet sales, profit, and customer growth goals. In this role, you will leverage analytics platforms and large scale data sets to assess short and long-term strategies and make data-driven recommendations supporting overall business objectives.
The right candidate will have an understanding of both technical and business-related concepts and will have a demonstrated interest in "test and learn" strategies and data analysis. We are looking for someone with a strong interest in fashion and beauty, knowledgeable of trends and the current market.
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Leverage and scale Who What Wear's proprietary data into customer behavior and further consumer brand development
Develop dashboards to support insights with visualization of complex data sets
Develop regular insight-driven creative reports for internal and external partners; synthesize insights and data points to meet the needs of each report and recipient (Data Downloads, monthly trend reports)
Conduct findings and recommendations to drive key business decisions
Deliver compelling story-lined based presentations for various business initiatives
Present materials at executive meetings, external meetings with partners, retailers, etc.
Own requirements, development, and validation of ongoing metrics and KPI reporting
Assist with identifying white spaces, trends and opportunities for new and existing brands based on Who What Wear proprietary data
Identify and explore opportunities to expand/improve proprietary data points
Oversee timelines and distribution for Consumer Brands surveys and research (surveys for existing brands and new brands, including Be The Buyer print testing)
Identify and implement best practices for survey distribution and maximizing response rates for Consumer Brands surveys
Key Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or quantitative field
2-4 years of experience in advanced data-driven analysis
Capable of independently accessing and leveraging large scale databases using SQL and business intelligence tools to conduct analysis (knowledge of Python or similar programming languages a plus)
Experience evaluating and deploying BI and analytics tool
Possess the ability to turn business requirements into technical reporting requirements
Knowledge of customer segmentation techniques and lifecycle management
Strong ability to collaborate and partner with cross-functional business partners and vendors to execute strategy
Must have the ability to handle a multitude of diverse responsibilities and work independently to achieve desired results; have sound judgment and business acumen
Not afraid of public speaking and presenting at executive and client meetings
