About the role

Albert is looking for an experienced Compliance Manager to be an integral part of our banking compliance program and assist in the development and implementation of consumer compliance policies, procedures,risk assessment, monitoring, testing and reporting on compliance with applicable regulations (e.g. Reg E, UDAAP, Reg DD, Reg CC, TCPA, etc.).

  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Demonstrate the ability to analyze quantitative, and qualitative data to identify compliance trends and potential regulatory risk patterns, and create required reports that provide meaningful insights
  • Problem Solving: Be intellectually curious and demonstrate the ability to analyze complex compliance issues, identify practical compliant solutions and drive decisions to enable the business to grow while meeting regulatory requirements. 
  • Organization: Ability to manage and prioritize multiple requests from various business partners and provide timely response and resolution.
  • Collaboration: Work with multiple business partners to analyze and implement standard compliance processes and controls.

Responsiblities

  • Review and analyze customer complaints and dispute processes, controls and reports produced by our Banking Operations to identify patterns or trends indicative of compliance gaps and/or legal risks, and drive timely reporting to bank partners
  • Conduct consumer compliance risk and control assessments to demonstrate compliance with applicable regulations (e.g. Reg DD, Reg E, UDAAP, TCPA, Reg CC, etc.)
  • Work with business partners to remediate compliance gaps 
  • Develop test scripts for monitoring and testing of compliance with applicable requirements (e.g. Reg DD, Reg E, UDAAP, Reg CC)
  • Work with our Analytics Team to develop exception based reporting for compliance
  • Support bank partner audits and compliance monitoring
  • Work with business partners to implement changes to processes and compliance controls to address new requirements 
  • Develop and implement standard procedures and playbooks to comply with applicable regulatory requirements
  • Assist with ad-hoc regulatory compliance projects

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree Required
  • 4+ years of consumer compliance experience
  • Experience dealing with banking regulators (FDIC, CFPB, etc)
  • Consumer compliance monitoring, testing or audit experience
  • Experience with control automation 
  • Experience implementing compliance policies and procedures 
  • Experience with implementing key performance and risk indicators pertaining to compliance
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Acute attention to detail
