Job Description Summary:

This position will be responsible for analytics across PayPal Global Talent Acquisition (GTA) by providing management with information for use in planning, controlling and improving operations and making strategic decisions. This role will partner with business stakeholders to understand strategy and build analytical solutions for various users across the organization. This role will be key in facilitating the recruiting team through defining metrics, understanding the levers that effect those metrics, and develop a framework for decision-making. You may be involved in other activities within the GTA Team to enhance best practices and reporting provided to external stakeholders. This position can be based in Phoenix, AZ, Austin, TX, or Los Angeles, CA.

 

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with key internal stakeholders and management to create/develop operational dashboards and standard reporting.
  • Develop, interpret, and present a point of view and recommendation with respect to analytics/KPIs.
  • Translate full spectrum of analysis into insightful, actionable solutions & recommendations that drive continuous process improvement to initiatives.
  • Be a data champion by educating and fostering a data driven culture.
  • Create reports, analyze and audit data in order to communicate and ensure accuracy of key metrics to stakeholders in GTA and in the company.
  • Troubleshoot reporting issues, as well as streamlining and optimizing existing reporting.
  • Analyze data in order to identify areas of concern or best practices opportunities and partner with stakeholders to further assess, determine counter measures or establish new processes as needed.
  • Complete financial data analysis and create specialized reports.
  • Assist in ensuring any issues identified in examinations, audits, compliance reviews, and/or assessments are addressed and resolved involving necessary accountable stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with GTA Leadership & Team to ensure data integrity and support compliance with relevant federal, state and local agencies (EEOC, OFCCP, DOL, etc.).
  • Perform data analysis related to talent acquisition programs, strategic initiatives, recruiting metrics, and other performance indicators.
  • Produce ad-hoc reporting requests.
  • Represent GTA in project implementation from business requirements gathering to testing to go-live as it relates to reporting and data.
  • Support PayPal GTA Leadership on capacity planning, budget management, spend dedication, and vendor contracts renewal processes.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Strong data interpretation and communication skills, ability to summarize complex findings clearly and concisely.
  • Exceptional analytical skills in using data and metrics to uncover insight and drive business performance.
  • Strong ability to present and communicate data, analyses and recommendation visually.
  • Experience with data integration and manipulation from multiple sources.
  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision and prioritize multiple deliverables.
  • Ability to maintain highest level of confidentiality.
  • Experience creating KPIs, compound metrics and trends using data from HCM.
  • Highly capable as an individual contributor, at the same time comfortable being an engaged team member.
  • Strong skills in MS Excel and Power BI.
  • Deadline-oriented, with strong multitasking and prioritization skills.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance, or 3-5 years related work experience.
  • Computer competency with Microsoft Office products.
  • Energetic self-starter, strong work ethic, and integrity.
  • Available for occasional weekend work in order to support updates; after hours work in order to support time zones.

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • An ability to quickly adapt to rapidly changing environments while serving as a steady point of continuity for their team. 
  • Good problem-solving, and decision-making skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience with Workday HRIS.
  • Experience with an Applicant Tracking System.
  • Working knowledge of Talent Acquisition processes and procedures highly desirable.
