That’s the mission of the Tinder Trust & Safety team. We are looking for an Anti-Abuse Analyst to help in the discovery and mitigation of fraud and abuse at a global scale. The ideal candidate for this role has a broad set of skills and interests- including a killer instinct for adversarial Anti-spam/Anti-abuse, strong analytical skills with the ability to get and analyze their own data, and a passion for Tinder’s Trust & Safety mission.

In this role you will:

• Use internal tools to investigate user reports and review profiles to detect potential fraud and abuse signals, and run SQL queries to quantify and maximize potential impact
• Identify, analyze, and escalate new trends and issues in real time
• Provide guidance to outsourced moderation teams on how they can identify and surface these signals
• Work closely with the internal tools team to help improve our tools and processes
• Work closely with the rest of the community team, as well as the outsourced support team, engineering, PR, and legal

We're looking for:

• Minimum of 1+ years in a similar role
• Ability to run basic SQL
• Superior analytical skills and excellent judgement
• Ability to multitask, keep up with large volumes of requests in a fast paced environment
• Superior time management and prioritization skills
• Extreme attention to detail
• Passion for helping people
• Ability to use critical thinking and logic to isolate and resolve issues
• Bachelor degree or higher
