Summary:

Quibi is seeking an experienced analytics engineer to join our Data and Analytics Engineering team. We are looking for someone who is an expert at turning large, complex data sets into simple, actionable insights and data visualizations.

What You'll Do:

• Develop high-impact dashboards and analyses to build visibility into core business metrics and consumer behavior.

• Facilitate information self-service to business users through data pipelines and custom analytic tools.

• Define and track key business metrics; design reports and analyses to monitor and understand them.

• Spearhead the creation of metrics that provide actionable insights to key decision-makers.

• Clearly communicate insights and recommendations to key stakeholders.

What You'll Need:

• 5+ years of experience in data analytics roles, preferably at content and/or subscription businesses

• Experience with:

  • Analytics and Dashboarding - Looker, Tableau, etc

  • Data Modeling, Analysis, and Design

  • Building and refining metrics to drive business priorities

• Expertise in SQL, programming skills (e.g. Python, Scala), ETL and data warehousing concepts

• Intellectual curiosity with an ability to turn analysis into actionable insights to guide decision making

• Strong communication skills and the ability to present analysis, clearly and concisely, to senior executives and team members who may not have an analytics background

• Passion for creating bespoke analytic tools using basic software engineering principles

• Enthusiastic about innovating in a fast-paced data and analytics space
