    Job Description Summary:

    Our team is looking for an experienced Product Security Engineer who can plan, coordinate and execute against a growing security program. We're implementing new security initiatives quickly - this person will need to execute just as fast. If you have cross functional experience working on security programs, we want to talk to you!

     

    Job Description:

    As a Product Security Software Engineer at Honey, you will:

    • Apply strong security principles across a diverse, global security program with non-technical and technical stakeholders. 

    • Coordinate with internal and external teams to ensure we’re meeting and exceeding policy requirements while setting the expectations on deliverables by driving sprint planning with the security team. 

    • Provide security guidance to Product and Engineering teams on new or existing services. ​

     

    About You:

     

    You have a strong understanding of: 

    • Sprint Planning 

    • Program management

    • Core Security Fundamentals

    You have a wide and and high level understanding of:

    • Infrastructure Security 

    • Application Security 

    • Experience deploying security monitoring tools 

    • Compliance 

    Bonus Points For:

    • Experience with Web and/or Mobile app security

    • Experience developing automation of security tools and software

    • Experience with Incident response/post-breach investigation

    • Experience with security tools i.e. Nessus, Snort, or Sysdig
