We are seeking a highly motivated IT professional to lead GOAT Group’s global IT service desk and related systems. In this role you will be responsible for the procurement and management of IT software and hardware inventory, developing policies and procedures around inventory management, performing documentation and auditing, receiving and managing the technical systems which support these processes.

Key Responsibilities


  • Procurement

  • Coordinate with GOAT Groups technology suppliers to purchase hardware and software for employee needs and projects as required
  • Create and manage the receiving process for all IT inventory globally
  • Work with IT Director to manage finances and report against spend as required
  • Inventory

  • Create and document the inventory process to manage inventory globally 
  • Work with technicians to manage on premise inventory for stock and project needs
  • Work with technicians to manage stock levels for on premise repairs
  • Liaison with IT team members to support inventory needs for current and upcoming projects
  • Work with IT Director to forecast annual inventory needs
  • Administrative

  • Create and maintain documentation to support the inventory and procurement process
  • Complete audits as requested on inventory and financials
  • Manage all contracts, POs and other documentation as required
  • Manage IT Product catalog and related vendors
  • Technical

  • Build and maintain the IT service catalog offerings and related modules in Fresh Service ITSM
  • Complete workflows to automate the request process from approvals to creation
  • Integrate ITSM workflows into additional systems to further automate creation and revocation of accounts and licenses
  • Manage and develop APIs to connect the ITSM to additional systems and tools as required

Qualifications

  • College degree preferred. Technical degree or equivalent experience accepted
  • 4+ years desktop support experience
  • 2+ years experience with ITSM software
  • Proven ability to provide exceptional customer service
  • Ability to manage multiple projects
  • Attention to detail including ability to work with numbers and finances
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends when required
  • Able to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical audiences
  • Able to maintain professional demeanor under stress
  • Ability to work outside of normal business hours as special projects or repairs may require
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work overtime with little advance notice
  • Position may be on call after hours on a rotating schedule
  • Position will require travel globally
