The Position:

The Technical Producer will help Socialive’s customers produce and execute live broadcasts and recordings. This role will work closely with our Customer Success team to ensure that customers are set-up for successful, best-in-class productions using the Socialive platform, and will contribute to ensuring productions are prepared and executed in-line with best practices to ensure a seamless experience for participants and a final product that exceeds customer expectations. This role will also collaborate closely with our Product and Technical Support teams to ensure there’s a tight feedback loop that ensures any issues are quickly resolved, and user feedback is integrated into our product roadmap.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Socialive Customers and Customer Success Managers on a wide range of customer broadcasts and recordings
• Partner with Customers to develop optimal workflows, including run-of-show and guest & content management
• Direct broadcasts on behalf of Socialive Customers
• Help with technical checks and management of talent/broadcast guests
• Evangelize Socialive best practices, and help refine guidelines for optimal execution
• Maintain open and proactive communication of status on all projects in production
• Project manage multiple customer projects and key internal and external stakeholders
• Bring passion, creativity, professionalism and a get-it-done attitude to a collaborative and cross-functional role

Qualifications

• 3+ years as a Technical Producer/Director managing live events
• Extensive experience using video switching software
• Extensive experience helping develop and QA production and run-of-show
• Strong understanding of A/V and lighting set-ups, as well as video production hardware
• Experience working with cloud-based software solutions, and collaborating with product and engineering teams
• Familiarity with social platform’s live functionality such as LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube etc.
• Excellent project management skills
• Agency experience highly preferred Impeccable customer-facing communication skills and professionalism
• Calm under pressure and the ability to troubleshoot on the fly
