Job Description

The Senior Producer has a unique opportunity to shape our content brand and voice.

The Senior Producer works closely with the Director of Content Marketing to produce video and supporting content in coordinated campaigns following specific corporate initiatives. Our ideal candidate is skilled as a writer, editor and producer, and has an extensive background in broadcast television. The candidate must enjoy visual storytelling, have a passion for helping people, and be equally at ease working on their own as well as with a cross-functional team.

Responsibilities

  • Produce multiple versions of customer testimonial videos for ads, social media, product pages, and more, following our brand guidelines and ensuring business objectives and legal compliance are met
  • Create supporting material to promote videos, whether emails, decks, ads, or articles to fulfill strategic marketing objectives
  • Conduct original research through internal or external resources, stakeholders, or subject matter experts to find appropriate subjects and topics to profile or promote
  • Organize and manage shoots in the field
  • Manage on-camera talent or nonprofessional subjects
  • Conduct in-person, off-camera or phone interviews
  • Write and edit scripts, using our internal content collaboration platform, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned
  • Brainstorm new video content for social media or to support corporate initiatives
  • Produce or guide production of internal videos (executive, FYI, Town Halls, etc.)
  • Produce live webinars, including working with talent to develop material, overseeing video or audio production and post-production, and coordinating all aspects of live presentation
  • Oversee content marketing strategy for the videos we produce on social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube)
  • Guide videographers, video editors, designers, or other third-party vendors to produce content
  • Collaborate with team members and other business units on marketing campaigns
  • Ensure content objectives are met on time and under budget

Basic qualifications

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in broadcast journalism or related field
  • 10+ years in a professional producing role, including field producing, script writing

 

Prior experience

  • Demonstrated ability to produce content that attracts, grows and retains an audience
  • Experience in broadcast, branded and digital content creation, including social media
  • A portfolio of published material that showcases your ability to produce unique, engaging or motivating video content
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Excellent research and collaboration skills
  • Superior communication skills and experience working with cross-functional teams
  • Creative and analytical thinker
  • Strong skills in providing creative direction
  • Highly organized with strong time management skills
  • Consistent attention to detail and awareness that details matter
  • Demonstrated skill in proofreading, following the AP style
  • Experience working with a content collaboration system
  • Excellent understanding of all aspects of video production and post-production
  • Familiarity with Adobe Premiere Pro
  • In-house content, production, or creative teams, or agency experience preferred
  • Knowledge of the law, small business, estate planning, and intellectual property a plus
