Prop TD (Temporary Assignment)

This position is for a temporary engagement through our staffing partner Yoh Services.

Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States for this position.

Summary:

Naughty Dog is looking for an experienced Technical Director with a specialization in advanced prop rigging for The Last of Us Part II. This individual will work closely with our Animation team to modify rigs based on feedback and requests.

Responsibilities:

• Rigging of props (including clothes and ropes)
• Rigging with controls for intuitive and easy animation
• Tool creation using Maya/Python to improve the production pipeline
• Provide prop support for a level and troubleshoot bugs
• Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed

Requirements & Skills:

• Advanced rigs/character rigs
• Rigging for production animation
• Prior industry experience
• Maya/Python Tools/Scripting

Bonus Skills:

• Dynamic Simulations in Houdini or Maya
• Prop modeling/texturing (hard surface)
• Real time physics setups

As part of the Naughty Dog application process, candidates should expect to be given a technical interview and may be asked to complete an art test.
