About the Post Production Supervisor at Headspace:

As Headspace continues to expand beyond our core business of guided meditation, we are producing different kinds of content in an effort to meaningfully connect with more audiences and improve the health and happiness of the world. The Post Production Supervisor manages all aspects of post production personnel, workflow and technical footprint for all Headspace video and audio content. The role includes oversight of all original video content, audio production, branded initiatives and marketing content efforts. In addition, the Post Production Supervisor will manage all media storage and archival processes in conjunction with the Headspace IT team. 

How your skills and passion will come to life at Headspace:

• Dedicated partnership - Work with all department stakeholders, Producers and team members to create new or improve current interdepartmental post workflows and processes. 
• Establish processes for start to finish workflow of all video and audio assets, working directly with internal teams to ensure regular cadence of media backup / delivery. Meticulous organization of all stored media.
• Collaborate, design and deploy all server and media communication needs. 
• Manage media storage server processes, accounts and space usage.
• Establish processes for start to finish flow of all video and audio assets.
• Work with individual production units to plan, schedule and manage all inbound media, editorial timelines and final deliverables to client (internal and external).
• Manage the hiring process for all Editors, AE’s and other post personnel. Oversee and manage all post staff. 
• Maintain organizational and naming guidelines.
• Work with IT to ensure regular cadence of media backup and delivery. 
• Maintain master content assets and quick access protocol.
• Own the day-to-day quality control of all finished assets.

What you’ve accomplished:

• 6+ Years in Post Production as supervisor or manager level. 
• 5+ Years experience as an editor in digital and linear content.
• Expert knowledge of best practices / applications for content sharing and storage. 
• Proven team builder / leader.
• Extremely organized and detail-oriented.
• Expert-level mastery of Premiere Pro and Avid software and workflows.
