Hawke is looking for a Photographer with vision and the ability to accelerate and grow a photography department within Hawke. As a photographer, you will work with clients to develop a creative campaign or storyline for the engagement, create a shot list, correlate production and execution, and work with the necessary teams to finalize the project. The Hawke photographer will also be in charge of client communication and project deadlines. The ideal candidate has had prior experience at an eCommerce company or photography studio, or ecommerce freelance experience developing creative photography campaigns. They should be use to managing several projects at once and able to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced and creative environment.

Videography is a plus!

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and advance the client’s visual brand through photography by establishing and enforcing brand guidelines and continuously exploring new ways to enhance our work in photography
• Create, execute, and present campaigns to clients while working cross-functionally with other Hawke channels
• Work collaboratively with producers, motion graphic designers, marketing managers, fellow editors and assistant editors to create innovative, compelling, and creative ideas to meet the needs of the marketing campaigns
• Implement creative decision making
• Set art direction for key projects
• Assess how photography is being used on a quarterly basis and lead the initiative of refreshing areas of the business that need to evolve and change
• Maintain strong partner relations, a solution-oriented attitude through approvals and feedback process 
• Oversee the photo budget, working with others to forecast and actualize budgets, anticipate company needs and budget appropriately
• Manage own deliverable timeline from pre production to post production
• Manage and maintain communications with internal and external partners and clients

• Deliver projects on-time while maintaining the highest quality
• Coordinate with freelance network and oversight on multiple projects
• Coordinate with sales on client needs and opportunities 

Skills & Experience:

• 3+ years of shooting/editing experience within a professional, team environment (Ecommerce experience a plus)
• Strong sense of shot composition and lighting
• Experience shooting with DSLRs, Red Epic and Sony A-series cameras
• Experience working with a variety of lighting equipment
• Proficiency with Creative Suite products, specifically Adobe Premiere and Photoshop
• Knowledge of Digital Asset Management
• Some experience with After Effects for customizing templates motion graphics & animations
• Creative thinker with a great eye for engaging visual storytelling as well clever problem solving
• Ability to work independently to achieve goals established in a team environment
• Leadership experience or drive
