The Performance Content Creator will come up with strong performance ideas with an adept vision for how they can come to life in post production, then guide editors as they cut together and remix the content. 

What You'll Do:

As a Performance Content Creator at Honey, you will:

• Ideate, edit and iterate video concepts working primarily with existing footage.
• Develop iterative video ads, taking inspiration from top-performing Honey videos as well as general top-performers.
• Optimize the viewer’s experience of every video (storyline, composition, shot selection, copy, music, VO, GFX, pacing, transitions).
• Ability to guide and clearly communicate with editors how best to cut up footage in various way.
• A strong focus on on optimizing the initial 5-10 seconds to grab viewers right from the outset and push them past the skip button
• Collaborate with Media to implement best practices while also experimenting with edits to provide videos that optimize for performance.

About You:

• 5+ years of experience in either post production, performance creative, or both.
• Self-sufficient / get it done mindset / take high ownership of projects you work on.
• Working knowledge of Adobe Premiere
• Results-focused; excited to measure success on objective metrics. 
• Interested in every stage of the process 
• Experience both in creation of original content as well as using existing footage to create net new assets and optimize for performance.
• Strong attention to detail and project organizational skills
• Experience working in Influencer content preferred
• Team player: you like working with others, and you appreciate and act on feedback.
• Passionate about video. You watch a bunch of it in your free time. You constantly look for ways to add to your larger creative skillset.
