CAIS is seeking a driven and agile Content Development Specialist to build and grow our revolutionary, AI driven education platform, CAIS IQ. As part of the Intelligence and Insights team, this candidate will help lead the content creation process and play a pivotal role in working towards achieving the firm’s goal of creating an accessible and independent source of industry-defining education to help advisors navigate the world of alternative investments. Successful candidates will be responsible for sourcing, researching, writing and developing an evergreen library of alternative investment-focused content and collateral. Ideal candidates are enthusiastic and analytical self-starters with a strong understanding of alternative investments, the independent wealth management channel and an ability to effectively communicate complex investment concepts and topics. Project management and organizations skills are a must, as is a desire to make a tangible impact into the world of financial literacy.

Primary Objectives

• Work closely with the Research team to create and maintain internal course content
• Source, manage and work closely with external content providers and our investment partner, Mercer, to develop and maintain external course content to be distributed for public use
• Become content creation expert on our learning platform
• Conduct educational demos
• Manage and nurture relationships with new and existing clients; provide white-glove service
• Work cross-functionally with all teams to implement enhancements that support client growth
• Analyze data to evaluate user behavior around existing and new features and implement new product strategies based on findings
• Participate in overall strategy alongside senior management as it relates to business development and client service
• Contribute to the evolution of educational content and delivery, aiming to enhance the learning experience

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Interest in Learning Sciences/Instructional Design/EdTech required; exposure a plus
• Experience in financial services require; alternatives exposure a plus
• Marketing collateral development experience required
• Research analysis a plus
• Strong client service aptitude
• Excellent writing and editing skills
• Impeccable written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills
• Ability to independently execute instructions with great attention to detail
• High level of personal integrity and ability to consistently deliver high quality work product
• Experience coordinating multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced and changing environment
• CAIA charter preferred, but required within 12 months of employment
