What You’ll Do

As Head of Content, you’ll be responsible for the content strategy that powers ringDNA customer acquisition and awareness programs. You’ll also be responsible for managing a team of prolific and high-achieving content creators. By creating content that aligns with the buyer journey for our key target personas, your team’s content will fuel target account engagement, leads, pipeline and revenue. 

You’ll have high standards of excellence for all the content we create and bring a disciplined editorial mindset. You will own the customer experience on ringDNA.com and across its digital channels, including social media. You and your team will be responsible for producing the advertising, research, podcasts, thought leadership, videos, contests, social posts and blogs that power our customer acquisition strategies. 

You’ll build the ringDNA brand as well as your personal brand as you help build community on social media, in professional groups and at virtual and (eventually) in-person events. In the process, you will create relationships with influencers across the sales landscape.

You’ll have lots of resources at your disposal. ringDNA invests heavily in content and has a massive library of podcasts, eBooks, research and insights that we draw from every day to build the next best thing for our audience. We also have a sophisticated marketing technology stack, giving you the opportunity to serve dynamic content for specific buyers at critical moments, create content for specific buyer journeys, and much more.

Using our brilliant ConversationAI tool, you’ll get direct access to the voice of the buyer, including real-time alerts about topics relevant to your work spoken by the very people we sell to.

We also produce the hugely popular Sales Enablement Podcast with Andy Paul, and cultivate a large network of influencers who help us execute successful content initiatives. 

Duties in Detail

  • Deliver content that grows target account engagement, leads, pipeline and revenue. 
  • Create and refine a content strategy that continuously improves results.
  • Drive ringDNA thought leadership and buyer engagement across its digital channels.
  • Grow and manage an incredible team of content creators. 
  • Bring top-tier writing chops to everything the content team touches: digital ad copy writing, event writing, web pages that convert, long-form content production, editing, research and sourcing to continue to produce gold-standard content for revenue leaders including sales, marketing and customer success
  • Support related projects to drive awareness and deepen influencer relationships, ranging from events to social media contests and more
  • Work alongside our Product and Sales teams to cultivate a deep understanding of the competitive landscape 
  • Support the ringDNA SEO strategy by uncovering opportunities, searching for and executing optimizations, and creating long-form SEO content production efforts
  • Co-manage our content calendar to ensure a thoughtful and strategic plan is executed in a timely and efficient manner

Candidate Requirements

  • At least 5-10 years of content marketing leadership for a B2B organization.
  • Strong editorial skills and a very high standard of excellence.
  • Demonstrated excellence at distilling complicated features and solutions into messaging for specific audiences.
  • Fluent and active in social media, especially LinkedIn.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and over-communicator who can work with minimal supervision.
  • Experience as a product marketer or copywriter in an agency, analyst firm or fast-paced SaaS environment.
  • Strong ad and web page copywriting skills.
  • A unique blend of curiosity, creativity and strategic thinking.
  • Demonstrate significant knowledge of the B2B SaaS ecosystem and contemporary technologies.
  • While strong copywriting is the primary focus, experience writing for contemporary SEO and working with related tools is valued.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including storytelling, writing and most importantly, listening.
