We are looking for a talented Director & Editor to join Within! Our group is a fast moving team of visual designers, product engineers, and content creators. The right candidate will be technically adept, an excellent communicator and collaborator, and someone who is passionate about creating leading VR experiences.

The Impact you’ll have

As a Director & Editor, you will be responsible for editing stereoscopic, mixed reality, and voiceover content to meet our daily content release deadlines for Supernatural, in addition to directing fitness talent during stereoscopic capture and voiceover sessions.

What you’ll do:

• Adhere to exacting quality standards to choose the ideal footage for each project
• Assist Post Production supervisor by delivering high quality content on rigid deadlines
• Assemble and upload final video and audio assets for export to our backend
• Lead studio productions by providing on-set direction to talent and crew
• Conduct voiceover sessions in-person and remotely

What you’ll need to be successful: 

• 3+ years experience in editorial / post-production (studio, agency or freelance)
• 3+ years directing experience
• Ability to self-manage and organize workloads around tight deadlines 
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Strong soft skills
• Expertise in non-linear editing platforms (Adobe Premiere)
• Expertise with audio editing software, such as Audition, Izotope, or Pro Tools
• Experience with After Effects and Photoshop
• Proficient with both macOS & Windows 10
• Shot Tracking software experience (Frame.io, Shotgun, etc.)
• Experience in DaVinci Resolve
• Ability to deliver high quality assets with little oversight required
• Familiarity with FTP/SFTP protocols
• Experience thriving in a startup environment

Bonus points for:

• 1+ years working in the fitness industry or directing fitness professionals
• 1+ years of VR pipeline experience
• 1+ years camera operation or assistant experience
• Familiarity with Silverstack
• VFX compositing experience (Nuke, Flame, etc.)
• Familiarity with project management solutions (Jira, Airtable, etc.)
• Experience using cloud backup solutions (Backblaze, S3, etc.)
