Job Summary: 

The Curriculum Developer utilizes adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies to create impactful, interactive courseware and supplemental content for internal customers through various channels. 

Job Expectations:

  • ​Design and develop high-quality learning content, based on a combination of needs analysis and project requirements, for both technical and skills-based learning programs.
  • Draft, design, storyboard, script, and develop educational video content and interactive elearning courseware.
  • Design and develop​ videos,​ guides, tutorials, job aids, assessments and other learning materials to facilitate understanding and retention.
  • Utilize creative, interactive media to enhance knowledge adoption.
  • Explain technical concepts and procedures in simple language for ​both ​non-technical and technical audiences.​ ​
  • Multitask and manage multiple projects while meeting delivery schedule deadlines.
  • ​Support administration and maintenance of LMS courseware and related content
  • Provide constructive and targeted feedback of course materials to team members in a professional manner 
  • Observe and evaluate the results of training programs
  • Determine the overall effectiveness of programs and make improvements 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 

  • Quick learner; ability and willingness to accept new and different ways of doing things and to accept coaching from manager and other leadership resources
  • Adaptive, flexible, creative and innovative, with the ability to manage responsibilities and priorities in a fast-paced, growth-oriented and time-critical environment
  • Excellent written/verbal presentation skills​ 
  • Clear and concise writing skills with extensive knowledge of proper word usage/grammar; superior attention to detail and focus on quality
  • Understanding of graphic design, elearning principles​, voice-over​ and video production
  • Ability to simply and effectively communicate complex concepts and material
  • Ability to interact effectively and develop working relationships with all departments and employee levels
  • ​Strong organization, project management, planning, problem-solving, analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Experience working within Learning Management Systems​ (Workday Learning experience a plus)​
  • Working knowledge of ​Articulate 360 suite, ​Adobe Captivate, ​or other similar software

Experience and Education:

  • Requires a minimum of 3 years’ experience in IT training curriculum development.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Education, Design, or a related field
