Summary:
Quibi has an immediate opening for a content development manager to oversee the development and production of premium, short-form alternative television series focusing on music and cultural programming.
What You'll Do:
- Focus on rounding out the Alternative slate with relevant music and culture content and ideas, including existing IP from Quibi investors.
- Provide knowledge, support and guidance to colleagues on the Alternative team who may be less familiar with and less connected to key music and culture creators and IP.
- Seek and maintain a current understanding of competitive networks and their programming slate as it pertains to music, culture and other non-fiction programming.
What You'll Need:
- Experience in television in television, film and/or streaming series as a manager, producer or buyer in development and current production.
- Familiarity with creative, business deal structures and production oversight are required.
- General knowledge of content lifecycles, from pitch through delivery is important.
- Must have strong knowledge of and familiarity with music and culture material and creators, as well as showrunners, directors and talent in this space.
- Ability to work with limited formal support. An Administrative Assistant/Coordinator will be shared with another Creative Executive.
- Ability to work in an open concept work environment at all levels.
- Self-starter who shows initiative and urgency under pressure to deliver for launch and beyond.
