Riot Games was established in 2006 by entrepreneurial gamers who believe that player-focused game development can result in great games. In 2009, Riot released its debut title League of Legends to critical and player acclaim. As the most played PC game in the world, over 100 million play every month. Players form the foundation of our community and it’s for them that we continue to evolve and improve the League of Legends experience.

We’re looking for humble but ambitious, razor-sharp professionals who can teach us a thing or two. We promise to return the favor. Like us, you take play seriously; you’re passionate about games. We embrace those who see things differently, aren’t afraid to experiment, and who have a healthy disregard for constraints.

That's where you come in.

As an Associate Web Content Manager, you're a direct gateway between players and Player Support's global web presence. When we release awesome new game features, promotions, and events, you will assist PS subject matter experts in making effective, easy-to-use web content to help players across the world get back to the experiences that Riot Games has envisioned for them.Keeping an eye to the future of the support industry and Web design trends, you will improve the Player Support Site by setting standards and processes for new content (global knowledge base articles, agent guidelines, self service tools), identifying opportunities to make more effective self help, and owning projects to achieve this.

You are:

  • Experienced: you've been wrangling content in an content management or marketing role for at least three years, leading projects for a publishing organization with a sizable web presence. Bonus point, if you understand the ins-and-outs of SEO
  • A content designer: with a hand-curated combo of the written word, compelling media and smart design you're able to strategize and execute for maximum player impact with every piece of new content. You're comfortable navigating Content Management Systems and creating content using HTML. Bonus point if you know Javascript
  • Passionate about UX: you have a good general intuitive sense of what makes web experiences feel great. You are also critical and data informed when it comes to evaluate these instincts
  • A project manager: you're keen on details and never let things slip through the cracks; you have a love for process and helping teams move their projects towards the finish line
  • Globally-minded: you're curious about international regions' cultures and thrilled by the idea of working on projects that excite all players around the world
  • A veteran summoner: you follow every development in League of Legends content and gameplay, and probably have already started imagining and ideating new ways to support players

You will:

  • Create quality standards and processes for the release and maintenance of knowledge base articles in each language and subject area for Player Support and monitor adherence and effectiveness of standards
  • Conceptualize new ways to get better, faster help to players throughout the Riot ecosystem. Conduct experiments on the support site to validate your recommendations and effectively communicate results to team and throughout the discipline
  • Help managing SEO, design, and software development vendors to ensure good value, high quality, timely execution, and ever improving help experiences for players
  • Sustain communication channels and relationships with key global PS stakeholders to ensure global alignment with support site and self help initiatives
  • Assist in designing new content and maintaining existing articles, through adept HTML and CSS in our content management system, in partnership with PS subject matter experts in Riot and at partner sites.

Don’t forget to include a resume and cover letter. We receive a lot of applications, but we’ll notice a fun, well-written intro that shows us you take play seriously.
