ZEFR is hiring! We are looking for someone to join our fast paced and innovative marketing organization!
As a Content Marketing Manager, you will shape the content strategy from the ground up. Ideally, you have already launched many successful products and can recount battle wounds from some failures. As a natural leader, you should have practiced the art of managing competing needs from across marketing, operations, engineering, and sales to ensure real value is articulated to the market.
This position reports to the Head of Marketing, and translates a vision and direction into an achievable yet ambitious product marketing plan that drives big impact.
Here’s what you get to do:
- Build and lead content strategy to drive lead generation, boost organic traffic, and create PR opportunities
- Create and implement strategy for planning, writing, editing and producing content
- Manage and maintain an editorial calendar
- Drive consistent relevant traffic and marketing qualified leads by converting site traffic through high quality content
- Ensure content is on-brand, consistent, and drives SEO
- Monitor and engage in relevant discussions about our company, competitors and work closely with PR to drive brand narratives and help us become a thought leader
- Work closely with marketing, sales, and the executive team
Here’s What We’re Looking for:
- Ability to roll up your sleeves to help write, direct, and create content
- Experience in digital advertising for B2B companies is preferred
- Background in journalism, digital marketing, or brand comms
- Subject matter expertise in product marketing or product management with 2 to 4 years of experience in a content marketing or similar role – work on video, social and/or advertising products a plus
- Bachelor’s degree from a rigorous program - in a marketing or communications is a plus
- A passion for great products that drive business impacts. Inspired and excited about the power of social video and the future of media
- Relevant, adaptable, creative, storyteller, and has an eye for creative
- A natural communicator who thoughtfully and intentionally delivers the right message to the right audience
- Comfortable in guiding the conversation from customer desk to executive boardroom
- A renaissance-esque combination of business acumen paired with technical sophistication. Marketing and design focus balanced with KPI measurement and scientific thinking. Great written skills that clarify the insights from mathematical functions
