Vertebrae is recruiting for a Campaign Operations Manager. This person works very closely with internal & external ad tech platforms, brands, and agencies to make sure Vertebrae’s campaigns run seamlessly. This is a leadership and growth opportunity to build Vertebrae’s managed service media business from the ground up. Must love low resource start-up environments and be fully accountable to do things for the first time and make decisions with many unknowns. This is a hybrid account management, media trader, ad ops role. As volume grows you will be expected to staff and grow a team.
Focus:
- Work across all Vertebrae teams to lead successful campaign executions
- Work with advertising partners and media publishers across digital platforms to implement and oversee ad tagging of campaigns on web/mobile & in-headset
- Monitor and optimize digital ad campaigns through lifecycle, communicating with internal AM & QA on issues as needed
- Manage setup, trafficking, and ongoing discrepancy reporting and troubleshooting of live campaigns via Vertebrae’s direct & indirect inventory
- Provide pre-implementation and post-implementation support to Account Management and Sales teams
- Develop and streamline processes to facilitate and expedite on-boarding for digital measurement studies and case/incident tracking, as needed
- Stay abreast of current and upcoming technology product capabilities, interface with product team to provide roadmap and key feature recommendations
- Provide reporting and assessment of ad platform performance and behavior, and best practice suggestions for both advertisers and publishers to optimize ROI.
- Monitor and gain insight into leading DSPs/DMPs/SSPs/Exchanges/Networks prioritizing potential partners
Recommended Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative discipline (computer science or related preferred) with a strong academic record
- 1 to 2 years of experience working for digital advertising companies in an operations role
- Proficiency with ad management technologies such as Doubleclick, OpenX, ADTECH, etc.
- Experience working with various ad networks and DMPs/DSPs/SSPs, implementing passback strategies
- Experience writing detailed technical specifications, flowcharts, and test case plans
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities, along with an ability to collaborate cross-functionally
- Superb general troubleshooting skills and strong attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent listening skills and the ability to adjust to the personalities of various partners
- Strong project management, organization and prioritization skills
- Ability to multitask with effective resolution management in a fast-paced, growing environment
