THE OPPORTUNITY

As a member of the ScoreBig Analytics team, you will be primarily responsible for:

  • Improving and managing the company’s product and marketing testing, analytics and related technical capabilities.    
  • Utilizing utilize web data and analysis to support the Product and Marketing teams in their mission to improve the user experience and increase conversion. 
  • Determining the highest impact opportunities and keeping the organization’s efforts focused on the activities that drive the largest measurable ROI. 
  • Collaborating closely with the Technology team on the deployment of the Google Analytics platform, including contributing to requirements needed to support the evolving state of web analytics across the company.   
  • Testing the data coming out of GA to ensure that the tags and filters are correct and information is reliable.  Analyzing the responsiveness and marketing ROI of ScoreBig’s digital and offline marketing efforts, including supporting CRM and email marketing teams.
  •  Conducting analytics on customer research and customer satisfaction surveys to surface actionable insights that will inform ScoreBig’s product, customer service and marketing roadmap and consumer strategy.

 

Specific Responsibilities

  • Own product and marketing analytics:  ensure that we are collecting the data we need, that it is correct, and design reports & dashboards that clearly communicate insights to business users
  • Monitor the data constantly to understand when significant changes happen in key metrics, identify potential areas for optimization, perform analysis on the data to isolate specific causes for changes
  • Understand ScoreBig business goals and conversion funnel and recommend any required measurement set up for new designs or programs
  • Work with product team to both design & analyze optimization (A/B testing) experiments for ScoreBig.com
  • Partner with marketing staff and maintain dashboards on performance of marketing campaigns in driving traffic, members and conversions, including reporting of performance against ROI and CPA targets
  • Analyze pricing & inventory trends across live entertainment – sports, concerts, theatre & family events to provide insights for both ScoreBig public relations & partners (teams, leagues, promoters

 

Skills and Experience

  • Have 2 or more years of experience in implementing & using Google Analytics, with knowledge of various aspects of Google Analytics including goals, events, filters, and reporting
  • Experience in working with a technology team to ensure correct implementation of tags, events, filters
  • Have 2 or more years of experience with e-commerce, funnel optimization & marketing analytics
  • Experience with [designing and implementing tests on commonly employed] A/B testing platforms (e.g. Optimizely)
  • Degree in analytical field (e.g. Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Science)
  • Proficiency with MS Office, with advanced Excel skills
  • Distinctive problem solving, organizational and analytical skills
  • Strong communication skills

Additional Skills

  • GAIQ test
  • Familiarity with Statistical software (e.g. SAS, SPSS, R),
  • SQL coding experience
  • Statistical analysis & modelling – Regression, data mining, classification & regression trees
