Procore is looking for a Visual Designer to join our growing Product Team. Our Visual Designers practice user-centered design principles to produce high-quality visuals—from concept to execution—across our platform. You will weave color, space, iconography, typography, and texture together to help our users successfully navigate our products. You will also collaborate with User Experience Designers and Engineers to constantly refine the visual design language and create innovative, great-looking products that people love to use.

In this role, you’ll be instrumental in shaping our products by understanding our users’ needs and translating them into intuitive visual designs. Candidates should have experience leading the entire lifecycle of the product design process, from brainstorming initial concepts to creating the final design.

This position is based in our headquarters in Carpinteria, CA on the bluffs overlooking the Pacific Ocean. We’re looking for someone to join our team immediately.

Responsibilities:

• Conceptualize, elevate, and shape Procore’s new and existing user interfaces
• Understand our user needs through research, create UI concepts, and compose solutions that measurably enhance the product experience
• Collaborate with UX Designers and Developers to construct the best possible user interface while maintaining Procore’s look and feel
• Produce visual designs and specifications for both web and mobile projects
• Create and maintain a visual design language that promotes consistency and cohesion between the design and development teams

Qualifications:

• Strong visual design experience in both web or mobile applications and a deep understanding of these platforms will be crucial in bringing our innovative product concepts to life
• Exceptional portfolio showcasing design capabilities and process
• Understanding of user-centered design principles and patterns
• Able to manage the entire design process from the initial concept to the polished product
• Expert experience with standard design tools (Adobe CC, Sketch, Invision, etc.)
• Experience in creating, applying, and maintaining a visual design system
• A positive, enthusiastic attitude and the ambition to push creativity and challenge established thinking in order to create the best work possible
