The Prodege creative team is a full service in-house design studio providing product design experiences & creative services that delight users for all of our Prodege brands.  The Visual Designer will create high-quality visual designs in the form of promotional banners, advertising, sales collateral both online and offline —from concept to execution—across many platforms.  They will also ongoingly prepare production-ready assets for various projects. 

 Our ideal candidate should have a general understanding of online advertising and e-mail marketing concepts, familiarity with basic UX design principals, and an energetic & positive attitude. 

 Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Create and/or edit visual content related to Web and e-mail campaigns, including banners, charts and graphics; PowerPoint decks for external pitches and internal communications; and print collateral for various Prodege brands
• Build and create layouts and artwork using Photoshop, Sketch, Illustrator, PowerPoint, and Keynote with a variety of elements including photographs, typography, logos and illustrations as directed by the Creative Team members and Sales Team management
• Occasionally create visual designs for web pages so information is easy to read, easy to understand and easy to find while adhering to brand guidelines
• Fulfill large volumes of art requests with tight deadlines
• Take full responsibility & ownership for all assigned projects, communicate with manager, art requesters, and other Creative Team members if schedules cannot be met or if there are any questions/issues
• Be proactive in getting design changes and approvals to make sure deadlines are being met
• Keep abreast of new visual design techniques and innovations

 Professional Requirements:

• BA/BS degree in Graphic Design, Advertising or equivalent experience required
• 2+ years of graphic production experience in a printing or web publishing environment
• Ability to produce or re-create illustrations, logos, and similar items in vector or raster-based programs depending upon the needs of the project
• Fundamental knowledge of color theory, typography, page layout and design
• Proficient in the following: Mac OS X, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator), Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word and Excel)
• Ability to be flexible within the job to ensure the best processes/systems for smooth completion of all projects
• Able to work well under pressure and deadlines; available to work occasional after-hours in order to meet deadlines.
• Demonstrates initiative, is conscientious and provides complete follow-through on areas of responsibility
• Excellent customer service skills, in person, on the phone and in writing
• Digital illustration skills a plus
