Social Native was founded by veterans of Google, Scopely, Yahoo, OpenX, and Salesforce whose past startups have created over $6B in equity value. We are building another industry transforming company, taking a marketplace approach that allows brands to source custom branded content at scale. We’re off to a fantastic start, and we need your help to keep up with the growth.
We are seeking a VP of Business Strategy who will serve as our leading content expert internally within our company, leading advocate externally for our customer base, and leading expert with our strategic partners. We are looking for a storyteller, who has deep passion for branded content, and deep expertise within the field of advertising.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the Social Native suite of products and how our partners most effectively engage with those products
Be the leading expert, inside the company, on the entire lifecycle of Social Native content, across all of its use cases and applications
Be the leading expert, outside the company, in front of brands and agencies, on the uses of branded content as an industry, and Social Native specifically, across all verticals and customers.
Advocate for and drive the re-use Social Native content within our existing brand and agency customers
Represent the company at industry events
Identify and educate the key personnel at strategic partners where Social Native content will be further used
Nurture and grow existing partner channels including, but not limited to, our Facebook, Instagram, and Salesforce partnerships.
Take industry knowledge back to the Product team internally to help refine and iterate on Social Native’s suite of products
Skills & Qualifications
Great Communicator: People want to hear you tell stories
Ability to identify and quantify market trends, data and intelligence: You love to look at metrics, figure out what they mean, and then tell others.
Clear understanding of the advertising industry: You would be comfortable being thrown into any meeting in the field, and adding value to that discussion.
Prior roles in the content marketing or ad tech ecosystem
Deep relationships in the content marketing or ad tech ecosystem
Able to travel as needed to meet prospective and current partners
BA/BS degree or equivalent
Position can be based in Los Angeles, New York, or San Francisco
