UX Designer
Since raising our initial funding at the end of 2016, we’ve been focused on growing our team, building the first version of our product, and preparing for our Summer 2017 initial launch. We’re seeking an ambitious and experienced UX Designer to help us create the next phase of our product.
As an early member of our product team, you will also play a role in building our organization from the ground up. You’ll report directly to our Head of Product and work closely with our Head of Design and engineering team on all aspects of our product. In the short term, you will spearhead our user research process, as well as architect key consumer product features. As the organization grows, you’ll have the opportunity to influence the direction of the product and own the design of our internal suite of powerful tools.
Responsibilities
- Develop rough ideas into robust, easy to use tools
- Work closely with engineering, design, business, and marketing to define and build features, from conception to launch and beyond
- Lead our UX testing efforts to gather meaningful feedback and apply it effectively
- Iteratively design and deliver wireframes, user journeys, user stories, and prototypes that work across a wide range of devices and interfaces.
- Monitor user behavior and develop measurable improvements
Qualifications
- 4-6 years of UX experience, ideally including at least one stint at an early stage startup
- Proficiency in building both internal and external facing websites and tools from the ground up
- Familiarity with Sketch, Invision, or other comparable prototyping tools
- Experience managing UX testing and analytics infrastructure
- Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment with limited resources
- Sense of humor and humility
