We’re looking for a design intern who’s ready to design and deliver new products and features that will advance our vision. You’ll be joining a growing team and working closely with PMs and the engineering team.

Responsibilities:

• Create wireframes, customer flows, mock-ups, prototypes and UI specifications to clearly communicate user stories and detailed functional requirements
• Work directly with PMs & Engineers in a cross-functional, agile development environment
• Maintain a user-centered approach in design perspective and practice

 Qualifications:

• Empathetic - you care deeply about users and strive to understand them
• Technical - you love new technology and understand the science beneath
• Detail-oriented - you have a keen eye and mind for the most minute details

 Requirements:

• Recently graduated or currently enrolled in an academic program having to do with Interaction Design, Visual Design, Product Design, HCI, or equivalent
• Proficiency in Sketch
• Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
• Familiarity with prototyping tools like InVision
• Examples of work via a portfolio is required for qualification

 Preferred Skills, Abilities & Experience:

• Understanding of color theory, layout, design patterns, interaction design, typography
• Understanding of interactive, visual, UX, and information design principles
• Familiarity with the Android OS and Material Design
• Ability to communicate concepts visually and explain rationale
