Position Overview
Science 37 is accelerating the research and development of breakthrough biomedical treatments by bringing clinical trials to patients’ homes. As part of the Science 37 Tech team, you will collaborate with motivated, energetic, and entrepreneurial individuals working together to achieve Science 37’s mission of changing the world of clinical research through patient-centered design. You will have a hands-on role with the development of NORA® (Network Oriented Research Assistant), the technology that enables Science 37’s groundbreaking Metasite™ clinical research model. Duties & Responsibilities
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Proactively communicate with product and engineering to identify risks or deviations from intended functional software requirements
- Creating, organizing, executing test cases, writing up test plans and summary reports
- Champion and exemplify software development and industry best practices while complying with regulatory guidance by Quality Assurance
- Test products from perspective of users and provide feedback to product and engineering
- Author detailed steps-to-reproduce, reports of errors and logs
- Consider and test potential edge cases and assess likelihood of occurrences
- Continuously look for new ways to improve product quality
Qualifications
Skills/Competencies
- Demonstrated ability to thoroughly articulate software usage, deviations, and workarounds
- Demonstrated ability to write technical documentation in a clear, concise manner
- Ability to bridge the communication gap between technical and non-technical people
- Ability to focus on individual tasks in a large work queue
- Experience with software development languages (e.g. JavaScript, Python) is helpful
- Experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g. Mocha, Selenium) is helpful
- Experience with workload management tools (e.g. JIRA, TestRails) is helpful
- Background in healthcare or life science is helpful
Capabilities
- Ability to communicate in English (both verbal and written)
