Technical Account Management (Post-Sales)

We’re currently seeking talented Technical Account Managers to join us at HQ in Venice Beach.
About The Role: Technical Account Manager
Signal Sciences is looking for strategic, sales-focused, and results-driven Technical Account Managers to own and drive customer onboarding, success, and retention. Your job will be to engage, retain, and teach our customers to fully utilize Signal Sciences. You will be the primary technical advocate for a set of post-sales customers, and you will be working closely with Product, Sales and Engineering teams within Signal Sciences to ensure we’re both delivering value and also identifying emerging opportunities Signal Sciences can take advantage of via new features and products. Candidates should have 5+ years of experience in roles that require direct technical customer interaction, such as Professional Services, Sales Engineering or Solutions Engineering background.
Qualifications:
Experience with some or all of the following foundational technologies: WAF/RASP; SaaS/Cloud or hybrid cloud deployments; Apache/NGINX/IIS or other web server platforms and associated Application server technologies and frameworks
Unix/Linux/Windows systems administration and scripting/coding experience
Proven track record of success, driving solution “stickiness” and growth within fast growing web 2.0 companies and complex Fortune 100 accounts
Entrepreneurial, self-directed with a passion to succeed
A creative, out of the box thinker
Analytical and metrics driven through all stages of the post-sales cycle
Excellent written and oral business communication skills
Excellent project management skills

You’re a self-starter with a proven track record of driving customer engagement in complex customer environments at the executive and department levels
You have the ability to understand customer requirements (both technical and non technical) and effectively communicate those internally with corresponding context and priority
You’re highly data-driven with a commitment to process. You know success has to be measured and you work best with well defined goals.
You love working in teams and your teams love working with you
You’re comfortable with the rapid, unpredictable nature of a tech startup
You prefer trying and failing quickly to getting it perfectly right the first time
