WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO:
- Can navigate the *Nix command-line in his/her sleep
- Has a lot of experience scripting (Bash, Python, Perl, etc.)
- Has a deep understanding of networks, systems & security
- Has experience setting up load balanced server environments and high availability systems
- Can assist the Platform Team in scaling & continuously improving system operations
- Can jump on server, network and deployment issues
- Can help improve developer operations: Continuous Integration, Error monitoring & alerting, Finding new tools, Analytics, Continuous Deployment, etc.
- Has an ability to quickly learn new tools and run with them
- Is eager to work hard and play hard
- Experience with Node.js is a big plus
TOOLS WE WORK WITH:
- Linux, AWS, Nginx, RabbitMQ
- Node, Express, Backbone, Grunt
- Elasticsearch, Cassandra, Redis, MongoDB, Hadoop
- Agile Development (modified Scrum)
- Puppet (We are open for changes here)
