ROLE SUMMARY:
Join a team of passionate designers and help create a world-class e-commerce experience used by millions of Dollar Shave Club users. You will be involved in every aspect of the product development process, from brainstorming to launch. You will be expected to utilize your product design, interaction design, visual design, and motion design skills on every project until we meet our high standards of quality. You’ll also be expected to take on more of a self-directed role and, often, guide the work of others.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design new features and experiences that are incredibly simple, elegant, and intuitive.
• Take broad, conceptual ideas and turn them into something useful and valuable
• Lead design projects and create necessary deliverables including decks, comps, specifications, prototypes, and motion studies.
• Participate as a member of a squad that includes Visual designers, UX designers, PMs, and Engineers. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to present and defend work.
• Experience in building and shipping websites.
• Experience with front-end programming
• You have a strong portfolio featuring examples of interaction design work.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Is a team player, ego-free, thick-skinned person who can take and give clear feedback.
• Strong knowledge of design tools such as Sketch, Photoshop and Illustrator.
• 5+ years of experience doing what you do
