Software Engineer in Test II sought by ZEFR, Inc. in Venice, CA.

Here's what you'll do:

• Work as a part of the engineering team to design, problem-solve, implement and expand licensed digital content enhancement, management, sharing, and delivery systems across YouTube and other social media channels. 
• Design and build large-scale applications and systems to acquire, process, store, and scale multi-terabytes of YouTube and other social media data. 
• Contribute to ZEFR’s rapidly scaling infrastructure and data management demands to keep the company at the forefront of VideoID technology for content owners and brands. 
• Develop, implement, and maintain test coverage for ZEFR’s new products and features, and contribute to test coverage for more mature products
• Create, review, and execute test cases
• Code in Python, Java and other programming languages
• Utilize ZEFR’s state-of-the-art technology stack for development in an open-source, fast-paced environment
• Contribute to the design and development of software within large-scale distributed systems
• Utilize data structures and algorithms, and perform complexity analysis to facilitate the development of key web-based applications for processing large amounts of data

Here's what we're looking for:

• Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
• plus one (1) year of software test engineering, quality engineering, or related experience programming in Python, C#, and Java
• Experience creating unit, functional, and regression test cases
• Experience developing automation tools, automation tests, and automation scripts
• Experience writing database queries using SQL and working with Agile software development processes
