Spokeo is seeking one top-notch Senior UI/Visual designer. We want a designer who will build magnificent user interfaces and create beautiful, compelling illustrations across our product lines.

Day-to-Day Tasks of the Position Include: 

• Brainstorming and development with product owners and designers on concept and design direction
• Rapidly produce multiple concepts and variations
• Create wireframes, visual designs, beautiful icons and elegant layouts for any type of device (desktop, mobile, tablet)
• Create the user interface visually so information is easy to read, easy to understand and easy to find
• Produce illustrations, icons, diagrams, templates and style guideline documents for use in developer documentation
• Develop pixel-perfect specs and design documentation, based on product requirements
• Work closely with other teams to make designs a reality

Minimum requirements:

• 5+ years of professional design experience
• BA/BS degree in Design (e.g., interaction, graphic, visual communications, product, industrial), HCI, CS or a related field or equivalent practical experience
• A portfolio of work across multiple platforms, including UI design, illustration and brand development
• Knowledge of HTML/CSS/Javascript
• Proficient in visual and web design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Sketch, etc

Preferred qualifications: 

• Strong visual design skills in a variety of mediums and styles
• Experience designing for multiple types of devices to create responsive layouts and UI components
• Knowledge of user-centered design practices, and good understanding of usability and accessibility
• Extreme attention to detail and consistency
• Understanding of basic principles of animation
• Plus: Experience in designing motion and interaction for web and mobile contexts
