• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity comps to communicate design ideas that illustrate user interaction
• Design the interface and experience based on requirements from concept to final hand-off to engineering
• Work jointly with other UX/ UI designers to provide input and help solve complex interaction problems
• Work closely with product managers to translate low fidelity wireframes, hand sketches, and/or rough requirements of an idea into well designed user interfaces and experiences
• Collaborate and communicate with developers to ensure execution and consistency of the experience
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and bring fresh ideas to the table
• Participate and occasionally lead user testing and/or focus group sessions to gather user data
• PLEASE NOTE: this position is heavy on the visual design for responsive sites, focusing on the marketing side of our platform. UX best practice knowledge and know how are also required. Product Managers at L&W are also required to be well versed in UX and you'll be working together to create amazing, simple and on-brand experiences.

• 5+ years experience as an UI / UX designer
• Notable experience designing complex user interfaces for web and/or mobile applications
• Bachelor’s Degree in visual design, or relevant design major
• Thorough understanding of user-centered design, responsive design, mobile first design,and web standards
• Self-motivated with excellent presentation and communication skills
• Strong problem solving skills and knowledge of UX processes and methodologies
• Strong multi-tasking skills; able to prioritize own work (and ask questions when it's ambiguous)
• Advanced understanding of how to apply the methodologies of interaction design and research to business problems
• Proficient in industry standard tools (Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Omnigraffle, Azure, etc.)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience working closely with acquisition and brand marketing a plus
• Experience in agile, A/B testing environment, BIG PLUS!
• Must provide portfolio demonstrating strong UI experience
