Evite is looking for a Senior UI/UX Designer to join our growing product team. Our ideal candidate will have a passion for designing products with user-centric focus and design, is driven by an inquisitive curiosity to learn, and can pick up new knowledge and skills independently. Our candidate is continually observing market trends and standards to evolve Evite’s product ethos with extraordinary precision. In this position, our candidate will have the unique opportunity to work cross-functionally with product, tech and design to create experiences, features and products on all form factors. Our candidate will define the product UX/UI design for the full suite of Evite products, used by millions of hosts and guests each year.

Responsibilities

• Executing design work consistent with industry and brand standards, analytics insight, and customer feedback
• Create and manage universal product style guide, mocks, user flows, creating clickable prototypes for all form factors
• Responsible for distilling highly complex user interactions into aesthetic visual forms, based on user-centered design principles, for teams to execute upon
• Use industry knowledge, user insight, analytics, best practices, competitor analysis to inform design decisions
• Inspire customers and teammates by consistently raising the bar on what it means to have the best user experience by understanding and analyzing user needs
• Delivers appropriate level of design and assets needed to ensure high quality development on time
• Coordinate with product managers, tech, QA, marketing, business development, design and other Evite teams to design products and features
• Create a unified look and feel of Evite that prioritizes customer experience and KPIs to achieve business goals

Must-Have Capabilities

• Demonstrated advanced proficiency in web, mobile web, iOS and Android app UI/UX design with an understanding of platform constraints and capabilities
• Has successfully invented new user paradigms or workflows that have been validated at scale
• Proven ability to create/improve/optimize mobile app experiences and conversion flows

Additional Requirements

• 5 years minimum experience in UI/UX
• Bachelor's degree or higher
• Expert knowledge of design and prototyping software
• Expertise in responsive web design, mobile app design and working knowledge of front-end coding
• Interest in designing and analyzing new and existing products
• Excellent organizational, communication and analytical skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where continuous innovation is the bar
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
