With the rapidly growing demands of our 4 million -and counting- users, we're looking to bring on experienced engineers who've built distributed, large-scale deployments, don't fret at their work being able to remain stable at 300K requests p/s, enjoy working with Go, Scala, Javascript(React & Node) A.I & Machine Learning, and most importantly, look forward to being a part of a collaborative team.
- Get acquainted with our product by working hands-on with each engineering teams to support existing initiatives and join the team that matches your interests
- Learn our agile development process, including coding standards, deployments, and infrastructure tools, and contribute to its improvement by bringing your senior expertise and ideas
- Work to develop strong relationships with other engineers through mentoring
- Participate in planning, designing, and implementation of new features and products to improve customer value
- Lead initiatives to improve the scalability, maintainability, and cost-effectiveness of critical features and services
- Leverage highly scalable existing open-source and managed technologies like S3, BigTable, BigQuery, DynamoDB, Redis, Hadoop, Druid, etc. to provide realtime products to millions of users
- Introduce cross-cutting technologies that will have a company-wide impact. Lead large engineering projects including large new features and major scalability
- Participate in ground-breaking initiatives to transform the education and ed-tech space, including large-scale data analysis and machine learning
