Senior Software Engineer (Beachbody OnDemand)
We Are Looking For:
A high-performing Senior Software Engineer. This highly valued, strategic position is responsible to design, develop, test, and maintain RESTful API endpoints used by our Beachbody On Demand video streaming platform.
This challenging position will include work on complex applications, sophisticated data processing problems, and act as a subject matter expert regarding J2EE development. The ideal candidate must have knowledge of best practice software development and a proven history in superior Java development principles of designing methods of processing data, technical report writing, and independent verification, validation, and statistical methods. You must have the ability to write complex programs and develop detailed program specifications, analyze data and situations, reason logically and creatively, identify problems,draw valid conclusions, and develop effective solutions. Additionally,you must be able to apply creative thinking in the design and development of high velocity ecommerce applications.
You're Right For This Job If You Can:
- Design, develop, test, and maintain RESTful API endpoints using Oracle API Gateway
- Develop J2EE applications to support back-end API services
- Work with project managers and ensure that all project milestones are met
- Investigate and resolve production issues
- Work collaboratively with peers and other teams, such as QA, PMO, and Business Analysis
- Work closely with external teams for ongoing development
- Develop automated unit tests
- Provide technical estimates for development efforts
- Provide solutions to requirements presented by the Business Analysts
