You Will:
- Participate as a core member of the team architecting the overall search approach through indexing and analysis, query, response and ranking.
- Design and implement improvements to the search infrastructure and tools.
- Design, monitor and analyze search system metrics to proactively prevent system issues and guide progress.
You Have:
- Expertise working with the Elasticsearch stack.
- Deep experience with two languages (PHP and Python would be great, but we’re not hung up on the specifics).
- An insatiable curiosity to understand the latest search and engineering techniques.
- A high-level or ownership of your work combined with a pragmatic approach that enables you to move quickly without compromising your quality standards.
- A craftsman’s like approach to learning the tools of your trade.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
Bonus Points:
- Good understanding of PHP.
- Ecommerce or retail experience.
- Experience working with MySQL, Redis and RabbitMQ.
