As a senior technical member of the QA team, you will be responsible for managing and executing critical projects while providing technical leadership and making significant personal contributions to the engineering organization focusing on quality and efficiency of our products and process. Working in a highly collaborative environment, you will lead innovation in OpenX engineering organization and generate key insights that influence business decisions and technological solutions. In addition, you have responsibilities to recruit, mentor and shape the best talent in a performance-driven organization. The goal is to instill quality and automation in every aspect of OpenX.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the OpenX Quality Assurance team to optimize product quality and customer satisfaction
  • Provide technical direction and guidance to the QA and dev teams on testability and design
  • Collaborate with Platform and other QA teams to establish, develop and maintain QA methodology the right way from the ground up (code reviews, coding standards and best practices)
  • Understand OpenX products, to develop, design and maintain test/automation architecture/strategy and comprehensive test coverage
  • Responsible for employee recruitment, retention and professional growth by defining goals and providing mentorship and guidance for all levels of QA professionals on the team
  • Lead and manage the release coordination process to optimize release quality and limit customer-facing defects and incidents
  • Lead and manage QA involvement with the production incidents and mitigation strategy
  • Review, optimize and manage test coverage and defect logging process
  • Collaborate with product management, project and development teams to identify and resolve issues of all facets

Required Qualifications:

  • Advanced QA methodology knowledge and experience, including the establishment, maintenance and development of industry-leading processes required to support demanding enterprise customers (high traffic and low latency systems)
  • Expert-level knowledge and experience testing throughout the full application / system life-cycle for web and non-web applications - to include functional, regression, and performance testing
  • Proven ability to optimize smaller, distributed teams and scale them for dynamic growth
  • Demonstrated experience with evaluating and building out full-scale test and staging environments
  • Expert-level knowledge of automated test tools, development, maintenance and frameworks (prefer open source software such as Selenium and Robot Framework)
  • Strong knowledge of Python, Java and SQL
  • Proven ability to evaluate and manage third-party vendors
  • Strong understanding of database driven, web-based enterprise applications
  • Experience with Java, Python, and SQL.
  • Strong understanding of HTML and JavaScript
  • Experience with Task Driven Development and iterative Agile Development
  • Experience with Linux operating system
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent time management, planning, and project management skills
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with online advertising technologies
  • Knowledge of documentation and tracking tools, specifically Jira and Confluence
  • Experience within a Knowledge-Centered Support organization and with Knowledge Management tools
